Providing Holiday Food Kits and Support to Needy Families in Al-Adha 2023

In June 2023, the House of Grace remained dedicated to its mission of assisting families in need, regardless of their religious background. As a Christian institute, our aim is to provide support to every person without discrimination of any kind. While we did not actively celebrate the Al-Adha holiday, we acknowledged its significance to the Muslim community worldwide and continued our commitment to inclusivity.

Our Families in Need project continued to play a vital role in helping families during major holidays, including Easter and Christmas for Christians, Al-Adha and Al-Fitr for Muslims, and Hanukkah and Passover for Jewish families. We firmly believe in fostering a spirit of unity and supporting families from diverse religious backgrounds during their respective holiday seasons.

During this reporting period, House of Grace provided 100 food kits to families in desperate need. These kits were thoughtfully prepared to ensure that families could enjoy a special meal during the holiday season, offering them a sense of joy and celebration. Families were warmly welcomed to House of Grace to receive their aid, enabling personal interaction and the creation of a supportive community environment. However, we also made special arrangements for elderly individuals who were unable to visit our center, ensuring that they too received the food kits through the assistance of our dedicated volunteers.

Furthermore, our commitment to families extended beyond the distribution of food kits. Families continued to receive invaluable counseling support from our social worker, addressing both personal and familial issues. Our social worker also assisted families in navigating their rights and entitlements with the National Insurance Institute, ensuring they had access to the necessary resources and support to improve their well-being.

Through these efforts, the House of Grace upholds its mission to foster a sense of community and ensure that every individual and family, irrespective of their religious background, receives the assistance they require. We are committed to providing support that allows families to experience joy and find hope in challenging times. Our aim is to create an inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued and supported, regardless of their beliefs. We firmly believe that by embracing diversity and offering aid without discrimination, we can truly make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
